The University of Phoenix project was a complete interior renovation of the first floor of Merritt’s four-story Columbia Corporate Park building at 8830 Stanford Boulevard. This project involved seven phases and was completed in just nine months while allowing the University’s staff members and students to continue operating normally and unaffected by the construction. The retrofit was designed to fit with Generation Four, one of the University’s four design standards for their locations, which include the latest in high-end, high-tech finishes. Merritt coordinated the renovations with University’s construction department, which is based out of Arizona.
The entire project included a new lobby, an open workstation area for the University’s support staff and a retrofit of all the existing classrooms.
