Merritt Properties Acquires 100 West Road in Towson

Merritt Properties announced today that it has purchased the 121,414-square-foot 100 West Road building, a Class A, five-story office building that is LEED-EB Gold certified. Located at West Road and the Baltimore Beltway in Towson, this property complements Merritt’s existing Class A office portfolio of 825,895 square feet within the Towson/Timonium submarket of Baltimore County.

Merritt acquired the building at 100% occupancy. In Q1 2018, 2,174 square feet will be available for rent. Current tenants include national credit, regional credit and media-office users, such as Comcast, Robert W. Baird & Company, Regus and Liberty Mutual. Building naming rights, with visibility from I-695, are available.

“Towson is a major employment center and a hub of a variety of businesses and corporate headquarters,” said Scott Dorsey, CEO of Merritt Companies. “In addition to representing a stable market, the area is growing rapidly as evidenced by many recent developments.”

100 West Road building amenities include an expansive atrium, open-air balconies, free surface parking, a conference center, an on-site café and a fitness center.
