Electronic Environments' Assessment Services Used to Evaluate Merritt's Data Center Facility in the Ashburn Market
Recently, Merritt worked with Electronic Environments Co. (EEC) to complete an engineering assessment of a 34,835 SF commercial space, previously occupied and leased by Sprint, in the active data center market located in northern Virginia.
The information and data produced from this assessment will allow Merritt to evaluate cost effective solutions to upgrade the facility's infrastructure as well as explore options to expand the current layout.
According to Electronic Environments’ Jim Stark, Director of Engineering & Construction, “The building has good bones and clearly offers the potential to compete head-to-head with other data centers in this technology area.”
